How AgentTerm collects, stores, and protects your data.

Data Collection

We collect only the data needed to run AgentTerm: account details (name, email, role), authentication tokens, and connection configurations you create within the application.

  • SSH/SFTP connection metadata and settings are stored locally on your device in an encrypted SQLite database.
  • We do not access, transmit, or store the contents of your remote servers or file transfers.

Data Storage & Retention

Data is stored locally on your device with encryption at rest. License validation and update checks communicate with our servers over HTTPS.

  • Credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM using a device-local key.
  • You can request deletion of your license account through support.
  • No remote backups of your connection data are created by AgentTerm.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or broker customer data. Limited third parties are used for infrastructure and payments.

  • Stripe processes billing details and may retain payment history as required by law.
  • Operational vendors (hosting, monitoring) only receive the minimum metadata needed to run the service.
